The Human Resource Department proudly serves Clarendon School District One (CSD1) employees, prospective employees and dedicated individuals working on behalf of our students. As one of the largest employers in the community, Clarendon School District One strives to provide its employees with a safe and supportive workplace. It is our mission to provide strategic Human Resource services for organizational excellence in the District toward the creation of a premiere education for all.  To do this, we:

 

  • Recruit, hire, retain and promote a diverse workforce;
  • Partner with organizational leaders to make informed decisions that benefit the organization;
  • Promote collaborative relationships with key stakeholders; and
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, respectful and inclusive workplace.

 

The Human Resources Department maintains and updates the employee handbook, works with employees on personnel matters, and oversees family and medical leave. 

The Human Resources Department also is responsible for recommendations related to the hiring of full and part-time employees and substitute teachers in Clarendon School District One.
